What are the system requirements?
A Mac or Windows PC. It is a native desktop app and the 3D preview uses bundled components, so no extra install is needed.
What file formats can I import and export?
Shows save as .tld. It imports and exports GDTF (fixture types) and MVR (scenes, fixtures, positions), imports Eos shows as USITT ASCII, exchanges paperwork via Lightwright XML, and exports PDF paperwork and plots.
How do I get my show onto an ETC Eos console?
Use “Send Show to Eos,” which connects over OSC and sends patch, channel labels, groups, and a cue per look. You can also export MVR/GDTF for Eos 3.2+ and Augment3d.
Can I work alongside Vectorworks and Lightwright users?
Yes. GDTF/MVR and a Lightwright XML bridge let you migrate existing shows and exchange data with the traditional two-app workflow.
Do I need to know CAD?
No. A guided New Show flow, venue templates, and sample shows get you started without touching layers, classes, or drawing scale.
Is my data locked in?
No. The .tld file is an open, documented single-file SQLite container, and the app also produces a JSON export for diffing and archival.
