Frequently asked questions
What do I need to run it?
macOS 14 Sonoma or later on an Apple Silicon Mac, and any Core Audio interface visible to macOS — including Dante Virtual Soundcard. Local network access is needed to poll wireless receivers.
Which wireless systems are supported?
Shure (QLX-D, ULX-D, Axient Digital), Sennheiser (including EW-DX), Lectrosonics (DSQD, Venue 2), and Audio-Technica 5000/3000. Shure receivers auto-discover on the network; others are added by IP.
How do I import a Wireless Workbench report?
In Setup → Wireless Receivers, choose Import WWB and select your inventory CSV. Channel names and frequencies are matched to create receiver entries automatically.
Can I control it from a console or Stream Deck?
Yes. Enable the OSC server to drive it from a console, QLab, or a Stream Deck (a Bitfocus Companion module is included), and MIDI snapshot recall works from DiGiCo and Allen & Heath consoles.
Where are logs if I need help?
Fault logs are written automatically next to your show file (or to ~/Documents/Smart A2 Station/Logs), and you can export a timestamped CSV any time from the Problem Detector tab.
Where can I find privacy information?
See our Privacy Policy for how we handle data across our products.
