DeckPull
for Blackmagic HyperDeck
Browse and offload clips from networked Blackmagic HyperDecks, checksum-verified.
DeckPull is a macOS app for pulling recorded clips off a fleet of networked Blackmagic HyperDeck recorders and landing them on a local drive with verified integrity. It connects over the HyperDeck control protocol and FTP, browses media, renames clips to a consistent scheme on ingest, and verifies every transfer with a SHA-256 checksum — across a whole rack of decks at once.
Features
- Connects to networked Blackmagic HyperDeck recorders over the HyperDeck Ethernet control protocol and FTP
- Manages a fleet of up to 20 decks with live per-device status (connected, recording, unreachable)
- Checksum-verified transfers: each clip is SHA-256 hashed in flight and the written file re-hashed and compared
- Consistent ingest renaming to a program / camera / date / timecode scheme, with a preview before you offload
- “Set Prefix” pre-flight: pushes a record prefix to every deck at once so new footage is named consistently
- “Pull Latest”: one-click offload of the newest clip from every deck, skipping decks that are recording
- Concurrent background transfers with progress, disk-space pre-check, collision handling, and a CSV-exportable transfer history
